Your arrival

 By car
  • A4 – A 17 Autobahnabfahrt "Bad Gottleuba" –S174 Liebenau – Lauenstein – Geising – Altenberg – Zinnwald- Hotel Lugsteinhof

By bus
  • every 2h from bus stop "Dresden Hauptbahnhof" with bus nr. 360 to Zinnwald "Am Lugstein" (bus nr. changes in Altenberg to 398!)

  • or: every hour by bus nr. 360 to Altenberg. The "PlusBus-Linie" 360 is in addition to the train "Müglitztalbahn" (RB 72), which goes every 2h between Heidenau and Altenberg.

By train
  • every hour by train S1 / S2 fromDresden to Heidenau,  with train RE19 or RB72 to Altenberg (Erzgebirge)

  • The train "Wander­Express" RE 19 from DB Regio AG goes takes onlny 66 min. every Saturday and Sunday every to the Erzgebirge. This express train starts at "Dresden Hauptbahnhof", goes about Heidenau and Glashütte to Geising and Altenberg.

Parking description

If you arrive by car, take the street “Am Kalkschneller"

up the mountain towards our hotel.

  • The first thing you will find on the left is our asphalt parking lot.


  • Shortly afterwards, on the left, after a private property,

        the entrance to our gravel second parking lot at the roundabout.


  • If you turn right at the roundabout you will come directly to the entrance

        of the hotel, where you are allowed to stop for loading and unloading.


  • Our disabled parking spaces are also located at the hotel entrance.


  • To reach our third parking lot, drive along the street

        “Am Kalkschneller” up to the end. This parking lot is also gravel.


  • All parking spaces are free of charge!
